Week one nearly done.
All classes good. So far.
the nice thing about stage 2 and 3 is the class size is much more conducive to debate, and all the smartmouths have stuck around to have the last word. Its definitely no time to be a wallflower.
Sue Abels class on Maori and the Media nearly erupted about 3 times into a full blown thing, and thats just the first two hours. Bruce, my pop culture lecturer guest spotted for his fellow brit Colin who we are yet to meet, and mercilessly taunted the absent academics love of Prince and bad outfits, in an effort I think to make us all laugh at him when he shows up next week but not know what the joke is. Sociol 318 will be a trial, but thank god I've already covered Adorno and Horkheimers culture industry theory before or I'll get lost. Politics and the media is much drier but I have Letitia and Jen to keep me company.
more later.
I should also say I lunched with Pie today, had a ginormous sandwich what didn't fit in my mouth.
