This year the venue was the showgrounds, town was obviously way past its limits, I couldn't beleive how popular it was this year, like stupid amounts of people.
The fankids were resplendant in their garb, but I wanted to see Seth Green.
We might have gotten an autograph if we'd arrived an hour before we did, but they had closed the line, so I had to satisfy myself with stalkerazzi photos instead. Hes absolutely miniscule. When he went to leave he was so short I didn't even see him walk out. Those who planned ahead and did get to meet him frothed at the mouth at how nice he is, he did seem quite friendly, but then he was promoting Robot Chicken. Anyway, Seth Green is a cute short Ginger who poses willingly for phone pics, and didn't behave like an arsehole. Thats tops.
Kobi got indoctrinated into Uncle Eggs world, and he liked it, this little asian kid spent about 15 minutes teaching Kobi the basics of Magic, and then casually mentioned the stand behind us was owned by his Dad where he could buy some start up packs if he wanted to play, bloody clever Dad I reckon.
I also had some purchasing joy, 3 Kathie Olivas figures for the price of 2, welcome to the family Masao, Cosmic Pennie and Marabel. 4 down, 4 left to collect.
