Also hope to go and see my fellow maori studies classmate Dudley Benson on Sunday do a song performance in response to the Rita Angus exhibition I saw when I was in christchurch. Its currently exhibiting at the New where I used to work. Im very excited and curious, and Dudley is an intriguing character, gently spoken, stylish, who gets around in a sporty pair of black gumboots. In class last week he rather understatedly revealed to me his musician status, a very interesting person I was always too apprehensive to approach. stupid me.
its not often you sit in lectures next to a guy who has his own wikipedia page. mad mad world.
