Seb and I went to see Matt Costa play at the Kings Arms Tavern last week, one of the more intimate and enjoyable gigs I've even been to. Matt who appears to not be known so well round these parts is one of my more 'favourite' singers, hailing from California. He was here to do shows with Jack Johnson, and hell I wasn't giving up the chance to see a small show with him involved.
He's a pretty tall guy, slightly built, quirky, antifashion, ha... he reminds me of my boyfriend only with slighly furrier arms. He played a selection of music from his first album and some stuff from the second album which you can't BUY HERE (GAY). We weren't disappointed though, he played all my faves, and Im 35 bucks richer for the experience.
