14 days left

My undergrad is coming to a close now, 4 assessments left, and 14 days to do them.  It feels good but ominous to be at the end, so far Im not doing as great as last semester, but Im keeping up which is all that counts. I have encountered the luck of having 4 amazing teachers all of whom are forgiving with deadlines, and I've attended as many classes as is humanly possible in order to ensure I got facetime with them. The key to ensuring you get support from your lecturer if things get tough during assessments, is to show and contribute in classtime, be it lectures or tuts.

The school hols were boring AZ for the kids. poor kids. They got farmed out so I could go to uni. No longer permanantly parked on shit street with the bills, nothings overdue for the first time in nearly a year. Xmas will still be lean, thank god for whanau and the little surprise the boys will get from them on Xmas day, it eases the guilt. Im worried about how we are going to get to Sydney next year, cost of living in Auckland continues to rise, seems we are pretty much using every cent towards amenities at the moment, and food. GST just went up as well, so everything is that much more expensive.

Still haven't applied for summer schol... bit nervous.
