None snows

got none, not a bit, but it was cold! I had lunch today with my old friend from Osaka, Misato and her 3 month old baby girl. I haven't seen Michan since she emmigrated to NZ and stayed with me for a week with her best friend and 2 sons Maui and Mahaki. She was enroute to Christchurch where her friend John lived and he had offered to marry her to help her to stay in NZ where her childrens father was from. In the weeks that followed the 2 of them realised that the marriage was not going to happen, but not before Tomoko (the best friend) and John realised they were attracted to each other, subsequently married and now have 2 scrumptious looking little kids. It was destiny.

Mchan and I spent 3 hours catching up and reminiscing dancing on tables at Sam and Dave in America Mura off Mido Suji. I left her this afternoon to return to Kirstys, and her and Adam took me for drive in the port hills overlooking the city. I got to see some snow on the far mountain ranges (yay snow!), but alas none fell upon my person.

I love snow, always have.

tomorrow, might be a trip to Rita Angus exhibitition, or to Mt Hutt, or to some kind of eatfest if I can eat any more after today. I might see Rachelle too as she has asked to meet for coffee :) Home at 7 tomorrow night, Im sure Ican fit all that in before I go.
