I won't oft swear in this family show bu its fuckin freezing. The last 3 or 4 days Sebs been pouring warm water over the windscreen in the mornings to dethaw the vehicle. The grass was white yesterday, today a fog has rolled in, the first winter fog so far ( I wondered why it was so dull out there!!) Ok I just went outside and its ARSE cold. Jodi flew in from Sydney last night and stayed at ours, I didn't see her till this morning as Seb picked her up at 11.30 and I was asleep, but she couldn't beleive how freezing it was, or rather in her words 'didn't beleive anyone' when they told her to rug up. She kindly left us with a giant bag of toblerone treats, yum yum.
So the exam was ysterday, and I managed to write 2 pages per essay, 4 essays in total. Things aren't looking too sharp with my other papers, but oh well, it wasn't the most perfect of semesters in terms of life dramas. I went to Shadows after and had a beer'n fries with my two classmates Coral and Jen whom have become good friends over the course of our Maori paper, I knew Coral from previous politics courses but Jen is a recent student import from London and alumni of St Andrews in Scotland. We were all releived to have it over, and now Im making the slow trudge towards my exams at the end of the month. Visiting my friend Amy this morning, and getting ready for Rotorua, the cars going to be filled with blankets in case we end up having a freezing time down there, but thinking of taking the kids to the polynesian pools for a spa.
Note to self to tell Jessica to pack woollens and thermals.
