brain fog

I had a terrible sleep last night, stupid basal ganglia stuck on repeat and a head full of stuff, banks, couches, paint samples, mess, and weird dreams with Gelles sister and brother in law wearing their wedding clothes. This will learn me to look at wedding photographs before bedtime.

Had meetings with Bank lady and Dave the painter yesterday, in high gear to hopefully begin abit of painting renovation the week after Carmel moves out. Bank Lady was very nice and helpful, and am switching mortgage over from ANZ because they have been a pack of bastards to my other bank and consolidating all banking activity into one place. Now having giant mare about paint colours, cannot beleive I am erring towards brown and yellow but I am. Its such a big decision because getting it wrong is expensive.

So I tossed and turned and annoyed Seb and it was hot and I was uncomfortable and then I found myself lying there wide awake at 2.30 in the morning. So he turns over and says 'are you still awake' and I say 'yes, am I keeping you awake?' and he replies 'yes, yes you are' and so I get up and go sleep on the mattress in the lounge which is still there from Emma staying the night with us. And I lay there for ages blinking in the dark and eventually went back to sleep only to wake up at 7am and feel figity and get up.

GAY.

So today the children are going to their auntys so I am going to make a consolidated effort to clean up the couches for sale and photograph a bunch of other stuff to stick on auction.
